I'm attempting again to be a "blogger"...as you can tell, I haven't done so well in the past.:) My goal is to update the blog at least once a week, surely I can handle that!
Let me catch you up to date on our lives...since I missed a few months on "the blog".
Let me catch you up to date on our lives...since I missed a few months on "the blog".
- Kasten is now 3 years old! I can't believe it, the time has flown by. He is by far, the most amazing little boy ever! He had a cowboy/rodeo themed birthday party--complete with miniature horses and bulls to ride, sheep, goats, and donkeys. He had to time of his life!
- Kynli Jo is the sweetest princess ever--so, so precious! She is 10 1/2 months old and will turn 1 on Dec. 26. These last few months have gone by so quickly and I can't believe my sweet baby girl is growing up so fast. He favorite word is "NO" and she knows how to use it!!!
- Kasten & Kynli Jo were baptized on August 24th. It was a very special day for our family!
- Dusty & I celebrated our 6th Anniversary on August 3rd. He is a wonderful husband & father!
- Our sweet dog, LuLu, passed away in August. It's amazing how much a part of the family an animal can become. Her death was very hard for us all to deal with, especially Kasten. He still asks about her at least once a week. It breaks my heart everytime!
- In October we welcomed a new member to our family, a Golden Retriever...his name is Sutton! We love him so much! He is wonderful with Kasten & Kynli Jo--it's so much fun to watch them play.
- We went to Orange Beach twice this summer! How lucky are we?! We are already looking forward to going back. Kasten loves it at the beach and Kynli Jo will be at the perfect age to eat the sand when we go back.
- In June, Kasten was the ring bearer at our family friend, Michael's, wedding. We made a quick trip back to Oklahoma for the festivities, and then jetted back home. Seriously, we were on the road longer than we were in OK.
- The best thing that has happened is that...I QUIT MY JOB! YEA, ME! I love being at home. I am able to spend more time with the kiddos and am accomplishing to many things on my never-ending to-do list.
- We have been able to watch OSU COWBOY football on TV a few times this season! GO POKES! We get tired of hearing "Roll Tide" and "War Eagle" all of the time!
I think that covers some of our highlights...there will be more to come!
